Sterling C. Crockett
Sterling C. Crockett, is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sterling Construction Services Incorporated (SCS). Mr. Crockett opened the doors of SCS in August 1999, to provide complete remediation and construction services for both commercial and government clients. Mr. Crockett began his career in environmental remediation in 1984 and is recognized as an asbestos and lead-based paint remediation expert. Presently, SCS is performing work for the Department of Defense on the Pentagon Wedge 2 Renovation project. Mr. Crockett holds a B.A. degree in Economics and Computer Science from
Robert F.X. Giroux
Mr. Giroux brings twenty-seven (27) years of construction experience to Sterling Construction Services Incorporated of which nineteen (19) years were specifically dedicated to the acquisition and management of environmental remediation and demolition projects overseas. Mr. Giroux has extensive experience within the industrial and commercial construction sector involving: asbestos removal, interior demolition, mechanical insulation applications, interior build-out, high temperature refractory, lead based paint abatement, mercury remediation, scaffold systems, and industrial fire seals. Construction, demolition and remediation experience requiring the estimation of projects involving high rise structures, hospitals, airports, power plants, paper mills, petrochemical facilities, mass transportation systems, and pipe lines. Knowledge and proficiency of estimation means and methods required to price, on a competitive lump sum basis, projects through the thirty (30) million dollar range. Mr. Giroux has obtained his B.S. in Construction Management from the CECOS West Coast Institute,
Eric H. Woodruff
SCS's Operations Manager, Eric H. Woodruff, has over twelve (12) years in the construction and remediation industry. Successes include but are not limited to the on time, within budget delivery of several large and demanding projects both in the government and commercial sectors. Examples of such projects include; Portsmouth Naval Medical Center, Bldg 215; NAVSEA, Washington Navy Yard, Bldg 197& Option 1; Phoenix Project, the Pentagon; South East Federal Center, Multiple Bldgs.; and the Culpeper Health and Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Woodruff is educated in Federal, State and local government regulations in regard to asbestos, lead, mold and other hazards.
